Michelle R. King Gets Wrongful Conviction Based on “Junk Science” Vacated in Kailie Brackett’s Case.

Law Court rules that admission of testimony from the claimed forensic podiatry expert was improperly admitted because it was unreliable and did not assist the jury in determining Ms. Brackett’s guilt. The Law Court stated that the evidence against Ms. Brackett was not overwhelming, but she could nonetheless be retried by the State.
